A couple of days ago someone lamented on the Lightwave list about not
being able to get ahold of a Megachip 2000 due to the exhausted supply
of 2MB Agnus chips. I've got a couple of clients in the same boat, with
the boards on back order for more than a month now.
My distributor called my Friday with some surprising news. My
back-orders had been filled! These boards are all spoken for, but they
said they had another shipment arriving next Friday, so if I needed
more, I should order ASAP.
If you are in need of one of these boards, check with your dealer ASAP,
or give me some e-mail/a call. I would assume a cache of the chips were
discovered, and who knows how long they will last (or if they have
already all been spoken for).
Good luck....
